FAST PIC and Atmel DEVELOPMENT

SimmSticks use 30pin SIMM sockets with a tiny motherboard to give a Lego™-like set of microcontroller building blocks.

"I built the DT001 programmer and DT101 PIC 16F84 board and downloaded my first program - in the same evening" GSM-NZ

Often all you need is a $5 microcontroller, some storage that'll survive power-down and some I/O, and something simple to mount it on.

SimmSticks boards are available now for Atmel AVR, 8051 and PIC with more coming.
