DT111 - PIC CPU & Prototyping Board

The DT111 Simmstick is simply a DT101 PIC16F84 Simmstick with an extra 1" of prototype.  The schematic and component overlay are the same as the DT101.

Features

Build a PicStic equivalent on a SimmStick Platform, on a 1.05" by 3.5" Double Sided Plated Through Solder Masked Silk Screened 1.26mm thick Printed curcuit Board.

  • PIC16F84 PIC Single Chip Microcontroller
  • RS232 Communications Port using a Max-232
  • Brown-out detector
  • Real Time clock using a DS-1202/1302 or Panasonic NJU-6355,
  • ADC  which supports most of the popular 8 pin devices
    (eg. the LTC1298 12 bit A/D to the National ACD0831 8 bit)
  • 2K to 64K serial 24LCxx type EEPROM.
  • One Inch (sea of holes) Prototyping area.

It supports any 18 pin PIC16Cxx Micro and it will cater for the FED Interpreter Basic and the microEngineering Labs PicBasic compiler.

Parts List, Component Overlay, Assembly Instructions & Options

Since this board's circuit is that of the DT101, see the DT101 for the assembly instructions and options and component overlay.

If you are adding your own on board circuitry in the prototype area, make sure it doesn't conflict with the ''in circuit programming signals and capabilities'', if you wish to retain this feature.
