Professor Steel is completing  a series of three papers with Hungarian collaborator Laszlo Szekely, dealing  with information loss in phylogenetics.  It will deal with issues related  to Maximum Likelihood estimation and admissibility. This will be the first  occasion that this material has been presented.</font></p>
